Rooms are OK but the bed is a bit small. Wifi is horrible 90% of the time and there are no windows. They always have rooms available and you can rent only half a day for cheaper if you're just over nighting. AC is barely enough. Grocery store and mall right across the street. Don't try to book this hotel online as it'll say "fully booked" ... this is not correct. Just show up and they'll guaranteed have a room available.

Plenty of rooms. It's clean...no doubt. Waited 15min to get room. Free WiFi available. It's not fast, but good enough. The smell of cigarette smoke in the room is horrible. The air-conditioning was running like a boat engine. So noisy. Unfortunately I couldn't sleep well. Otherwise So Cheap So Good

I checked in at Hotel Sogo Sta Rosa for a week-long workshop and I'm writing to express my deepest appreciation for the outstanding service I recently experienced from Hotel Sogo's exceptional supervisors, Bea and Carlo, as well as Supervisor Jyan Surat. Bea and Carlo's dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction was truly remarkable. They processed my check-in and room transfer swiftly, showcasing attention to detail that goes beyond the ordinary. Their efforts have set a new standard for customer care at Hotel Sogo, reflecting the establishment's genuine value for its patrons. Supervisor Jyan Surat's exceptional service further solidified my positive experience. Swiftly addressing a crucial need for wifi access during my extended stay, he also coordinated a seamless room transfer and deployed maintenance staff promptly. His personal involvement in ensuring every aspect of the transfer went smoothly demonstrated a commitment that goes above and beyond. I believe Supervisors Bea, Carlo, and Jyan are invaluable assets to the Hotel Sogo management, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to them for setting the bar high for customer care. I booked thru Agoda and amended my dates. I could not check in my room because according to them Agoda did not update them even if I showed the email Agoda sent me that amendment of date is confirmed and paid. It is the lack of coordination between Agoda and Sogo but I am the one who suffered. The Manager kept telling me I have a room but they are just waiting for Agoda to update them. Then why didn't they just let me check in my room since it was written in the email sent to me from Agoda that I am paid already.

Arrived at 3:30 am, and the only option was the "drive-in executive room." The unit needed cleaning, so we waited 45 minutes in the lobby. We followed up and were told it was still being cleaned. We asked how much longer and were told 15 more minutes. We waited a total of 1 hour before becoming vocal about our frustrations. The room was finally ready after following up again. However, no one apologized, and two staff members were staring with smiles on their faces, making us feel ridiculed. Wi-Fi signal is non-existent. There were not enough outlets, only one power outlet far from the bed. We asked for an extension cord, but no one got back to us. The Jacuzzi drainage was very clogged and unusable. We wanted help with Wi-Fi and planned on ordering food, but we did not do either because we felt like the staff did not care, and we did not want to risk being stressed again. We were disappointed with the careless, nonchalant, and rude staff team compared to a flawless service experience months ago on the same branch but on a weekend afternoon.

They were very accommodating. The service is fast and the location is good because it's near waltermart so it's easy to pick up any essentials you need.
